Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2, 2026 · Last updated: June 2, 2026

1. Who we are

STEWARD is a faith-based whole-life stewardship service operated by AIMPLIFY LLC ("STEWARD," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 2400 Old Brick Rd, #61, Glen Allen, VA 23060. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices you have.

This Policy applies to both of our properties:

  • stewardfully.com — our public marketing website.
  • app.stewardfully.com — the STEWARD application, where you create an account and use the service.

If you have questions, contact us at support@stewardfully.com.

2. A quick summary

  • STEWARD is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
  • We collect only what we need to run the service, and we don't sell your personal information.
  • A quiet AI helper supports your reflections. It's on by default, you can turn it off anytime in Settings, and we never use your reflections to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
  • You can export all of your data anytime, and you can permanently delete your account and data whenever you choose.
  • Your personal reflections are private by default. You control what, if anything, you share with a mentor or group.

3. Who may use STEWARD (18+)

STEWARD is intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not direct the service to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will promptly and permanently delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact support@stewardfully.com.

4. Information we collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information — name, email address, password (or a sign-in via Google, Apple, or magic link), and your date of birth or 18+ confirmation (to confirm eligibility).
  • Profile & onboarding — the "season" and roles you describe, the people and things you're stewarding ("entrustments"), and your communication and reminder preferences.
  • Your reflections & activity — your responses in the guided sessions (Recognize, Examine, Discern), the steps you commit to, your reviews, and assessment responses. This is sensitive, personal content; we treat it accordingly (see Sections 6 and 8).
  • Community content — posts or notes you choose to share with mentors or a group, including whether you attach your name/handle.
  • Mentorship — mentor or group connections you set up, and the scope of what you choose to share.
  • Scholarship or support requests, and messages you send us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage and device data — pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device type, and similar technical data, collected via essential cookies and limited analytics.
  • Cookies — we use cookies necessary to run the service (e.g., keeping you signed in) and limited analytics cookies. See Section 11.

Information from third parties:

  • Sign-in providers (Google, Apple) — basic profile information you authorize when you choose those sign-in methods.
  • Payment processor (Stripe) — confirmation of payments and subscription status. We do not collect or store your full card number; Stripe handles card data directly.

5. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and secure your account and verify eligibility (18+).
  • Provide the service — the interview, assessment, guided sessions, dashboard, reminders, community, and mentorship features.
  • Generate AI-assisted reflections and suggestions to help you discover, decide, and act (see Section 6).
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe).
  • Send you service messages, reminders, and, with your consent, optional emails or texts (you can opt out anytime).
  • Keep the community safe (content moderation and safety — see Section 7).
  • Improve and troubleshoot the service.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We rely on the following legal bases (where GDPR applies): performing our contract with you, your consent (e.g., for AI processing of sensitive content and for optional communications), our legitimate interests (e.g., security and service improvement), and legal obligations.

6. How STEWARD uses AI

STEWARD uses artificial intelligence to help you reflect — never to decide for you. Specifically, the AI may notice patterns in what you've written, surface possible next steps sized so you can take them, and offer related Scripture or a reframing question. It proposes; you decide.

  • On by default, easy to turn off. AI assistance is enabled by default, and you can turn it off entirely anytime in Settings. STEWARD works fully without it.
  • What it will never do. It will not decide for you, judge your faithfulness, compare you to others, or provide financial, legal, medical, or counseling advice. For those, it will point you to a qualified professional.
  • We never train AI models on your content. We do not use your reflections, sessions, or other personal content to train AI models — ours or any third party's.
  • Sensitive content & consent. Because your reflections may touch faith, finances, family, and emotional well-being (sensitive, special-category data), we ask for your explicit consent to process this content with AI when you begin, and we record that consent. You can withdraw it anytime by turning AI off.
  • Where AI runs. AI processing runs on our secure servers; we do not expose your content to AI features you haven't enabled.

When you interact with an AI feature, we tell you clearly that AI is involved, at the start of that interaction. See our How STEWARD Uses AI explainer for the plain-language overview.

7. Community content and safety

If you post in community or mentor/group spaces, we process that content to operate those features and to keep them safe. Our safety systems (including automated checks and human review) may screen, hide, or remove content that violates our Community Guidelines, and we may warn, suspend, or remove accounts. Reports are handled confidentially. See our Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service for details.

STEWARD is not a crisis, counseling, medical, financial, or legal service. If our systems detect content suggesting self-harm, we may show you supportive resources (such as the U.S. 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). If you are in crisis, please contact 988 or your local emergency number.

8. How we protect and keep your information

  • Privacy by default. Your personal reflections are private to you by default. Mentor or group visibility happens only when you explicitly choose it, scoped to what you select, and you can revoke it anytime.
  • Security. We maintain a written security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security so users can access only their own data.
  • Retention. We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and for the purposes described here. We do not retain personal information indefinitely. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your data as described in Section 10, subject only to the narrow exceptions stated there.

9. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under California law). We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us run STEWARD, under contracts requiring them to protect it — for example: Supabase (hosting, database, authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS, if you opt in), and our AI providers (Google (Gemini) and OpenAI (ChatGPT)) for the AI features you've enabled. We may add or change AI or other service providers in the future and will update this Policy accordingly.
  • With mentors or group members you explicitly choose to share with, scoped to what you select.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the public.
  • In a business transfer — if STEWARD is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not allow our service providers to use your information for their own purposes, and we do not permit AI providers to train on your content.

10. Your rights and choices

You have meaningful control over your information. From Settings → Privacy & Data, you can:

  • Export all of your data, anytime. We provide a complete copy in a machine-readable format (JSON) plus a human-readable version, packaged for download.
  • Permanently delete your account and data, anytime. Upon your explicit confirmation, we permanently and irreversibly delete your personal data from our active databases and storage — a true deletion, not a hidden "deactivated" copy. We offer you the chance to export your data first.

Narrow, disclosed exceptions: (a) payment records retained by Stripe as required by tax and financial law; (b) safety records related to a content-moderation incident, kept access-controlled for as long as reasonably necessary for appeals, security, or legal preservation, then purged; and (c) personal data residing in encrypted backups, which is removed from active systems immediately and expires from rolling backups in the ordinary course, and is never restored to repopulate deleted data. Outside these exceptions, your data is deleted without retention.

  • Access, correct, or update your information.
  • Manage communications — opt out of optional emails or texts anytime (reply STOP to texts; use unsubscribe links; adjust Settings).
  • Turn AI off anytime (Section 6).

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their data protection authority. We market STEWARD only in the United States, but we honor these core rights for all users.

To exercise any right, use Settings or contact support@stewardfully.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.

11. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the service (such as keeping you signed in) and limited analytics to understand and improve usage. The marketing site (stewardfully.com) is designed to be light on cookies; the app (app.stewardfully.com) uses cookies necessary for authentication. You can manage your preferences anytime through our cookie banner and your browser settings, and learn more on our Cookie Policy page.

12. International users and data transfers

STEWARD is operated from the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access STEWARD from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S. and other countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
